4. Artificial Intelligence and Model Risk Disclosure
Ellie uses generative artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to generate responses.

Edelweiss may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Assistant at any time without prior notice.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted under applicable law, Edelweiss Asset Management Limited, and Edelweiss Trusteeship Company Limited, its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, representatives, agents, licensors, and technology partners shall not be liable for any losses or damages arising from or related to:
reliance on information generated by Ellie
inaccuracies or errors in responses
system interruptions or technical failures
decisions taken based on Ellie outputs
financial, investment, or trading outcomes
This includes direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to:
investment losses
loss of opportunity
loss of profits
loss of data or goodwill
Use of Ellie is entirely at the user's own risk.
8. User Responsibility and Indemnity
By using Ellie, you agree that:
you remain solely responsible for evaluating the accuracy and relevance of information provided
you will not rely exclusively on Ellie for financial decisions
you will obtain independent professional advice where appropriate
You further agree to indemnify and hold harmless Edelweiss, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents against any claims, liabilities, losses, or damages arising from:
your use or misuse of Ellie
reliance on Ellie outputs
violation of these Terms of Use
9. Data Privacy and Security
To meet regulatory, cybersecurity, audit, and operational requirements, certain technical interaction data may be logged. This may include:
IP address
approximate geographic region derived from IP
browser and device information
timestamp of interactions
session ID and consent version
key beta interaction events and usage metrics
Such information is stored in secure, access-controlled environments and processed in accordance with applicable laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and internal compliance policies.
Users are advised not to submit sensitive personal information, including:
PAN numbers
bank account details
investment account credentials
passwords or authentication data
Ellie is not intended for submission of confidential financial information.
10. Intellectual Property
All technology, algorithms, models, software systems, and interfaces associated with Ellie are the exclusive intellectual property of Engati Technologies Private Limited or its licensors.
Users may not:
copy
reproduce
modify
reverse engineer
commercially exploit
any portion of Ellie without prior written permission.
11. Modification of Terms
Edelweiss reserves the right to modify or update these Terms of Use at any time to reflect regulatory changes, operational requirements, or improvements to Ellie.
Continued use of Ellie after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms of Use shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising in connection with Ellie shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in Mumbai, India.
